Most installations are completed in a single day (about 6–8 hours). Our crew handles the full setup, wiring, gas connections, and final testing so your home is fully ready before we leave.

Behind the scenes, we also take care of ordering the equipment and materials, prepping the machine for your home, coordinating permits, and scheduling inspections — so installation day stays smooth and straightforward.

In some cases (long trench runs, complex gas piping, or panel upgrades), the project may extend into a second day, but we’ll let you know ahead of time so there are no surprises.

Our goal is always to leave your home powered up, cleaner than we found it, and ready to go.

After you sign and place your deposit, we handle the rest. We order your generator (if it isn’t already in stock), take care of any required permits, and coordinate an installation date that works for you.

During this time, our team is preparing materials, planning the layout, and making sure everything is lined up so installation day runs smoothly.

A good installation is safe, clean, and thoughtfully planned. The generator is placed in the right location, wiring is neat, gas and electrical lines are properly sized and secured, permits and inspections are completed, and the system is fully tested before we leave.

A bad installation usually happens when shortcuts are taken — poor placement, messy or missing wiring, undersized gas lines, or low-quality components. It may work at first, but problems often show up later, and in some cases warranties can even be voided.

In our market, most fully installed residential generators (13 kW–26 kW) typically range from about $10,299 to $15,500. The exact price depends on the generator size, the installation conditions, and whether any electrical or gas upgrades are needed.
